Solgar Italia Multinutrient S.p.a., a Nestlé Company, is currently looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist for the Solgar brand.

POSITION IN A SNAPSHOT

  • Location: Padova
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or similar
  • Experience in Function: 3 – 5 years
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI

  • Cross Functional Experience: Marketing, Customer, Category,
  • Demonstrated Commercial Competencies: Master Shopper Understanding, Develop Winning Strategies and Plans, Lead Category Development, Drive Profitable Revenue Growth, Successful cross functional team leadership
  • Previous experience in trade marketing;
  • Insight, good at understanding Business context, team worker;
  • Strong analytical skills and business mindset; Proven business management competency
    Ability to drive and influence with integrity Stakeholders Internal/External.
  • Soft skills are key: passion and leadership are important to get commitment from Sales Team and customers;
  • Proficiency in English and Italian

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Prioritize channels and define channel strategies to win.

Lead the development of complete channel solutions that better meet shopper & customer needs Define the Picture of Success for the category, specific to each priority channel.

Report: analyze brand, competitor and category performances and KPI’s.

 

KEY OUTPUTS

S/He is responsible for developing Channel plans

S/He is responsible for articulating where we will play based on Category, Shopper, Consumer and Customer insights and needs, and how we will win.

Develop and integrate into the commercial planning processes the element of the Channel wheel and ultimately publish a picture of success for the Category in the Channel, enabling its implementation, continuous review and optimization.

Support the identification of organizational capabilities required to successfully execute the Channel plan and develop the compelling channel category selling story and partner sales in delivering it to the Customer.

 

Idea to Launch: AMBITION - Through a deep understanding of the Shopper and Retail Landscape, channel dynamics and prioritized Channels and based on shopper centric insights and missions (relevant physical & digital store formats), s/he will develop channel solutions and contribute to build commercially aligned business cases and key initiatives that address the opportunity for future channel growth, leveraging our categories strategies.

Identify opportunities within all prioritized channels to execute the key category initiatives ensuring a frictionless on-line/off-line experience and contribute to develop Multi-Category initiatives within a Channel through internal alignment and partnering with Sales in engaging customer. S/he will also support Sales in engaging external Stakeholder and the implementation of the defined ambition through insightful lead and effective story telling and deep channel and customer understanding.
